I bet most of y’all find it hard to incorporate the runway trends into your practical lives. To be honest, I feel you guys and I certainly believe that there are a few looks that would be extremely weird to rock while we’re running errands! However, even if these runway shows/trends aren’t completely practical, they do whisk up the fashion quotient and give us an insight into what’s trending- and if not everything there are a few things that each of us can take from them.
One such popular runway trend is the “ANIMAL PRINT” that you might have spotted endless number of times this season.
Irrespective of this trend raging all over like fire, there are a lot of you still concerning over how to make animal prints wearable in your daily life. Don’t worry, I’ve got your back and I’ll help you find a way out.
Before we actually get into the styling bit, it is important to keep 2 integral things in mind.
A. To have an open mind
B. To start small
These are the two basics that’ll help you overpower your fashion game and I say this because It is very important to have a pliable approach when you enter a new space/ give into a new trend , thus having an open mind will help you imbibe the trend better and will allow you modify it as per your style. Also, I intend towards starting small because, it’s always a good idea to take things slow- because otherwise you might overdo it / it might turn out too loud and one might end up, giving up on it. Thus, starting small is how it should be.
Now, coming onto the looks that I’ve put together for you guys.
Roar like a leopardess
The most important thing to keep in mind when choosing an animal print for yourselves is “The colour scheme”, make sure you pick a print that goes well with the other pieces in your wardrobe.
Leopard print floats the boat if you have lots of neutrals, corals and brown tones in your wardrobe. Like here, I have styled this stunning leopard print sweater that has coral undertones to it with this plain palazzo pants. You see a pattern here? I have made sure to balance out the outfit by picking up a solid color bottom and that too in a flowy fabric.
To complete the look, I have went for minimal accessories and my go to black heels. I am totally digging this look! Has to be one of my favorite winter looks from the entire season. What do you think?
Slither into the snake skin
Snake print, is my new favorite color! Only if that makes sense. 😛
I am a sucker for blacks and whites and snake prints and zebra prints turn out to be the perfect companion for all monochrome lovers.
For this look, I decided to pair these snake print pants with this peach sweater- giving a touch of neutrals to compliment the pattern. I also added this fur jacket on top of it to keep me warm and fuzzy! I styled this adorable beret and pulled my sling along to complete this look.
It’s always a good idea to compliment your look with a rad pair of sunnies and a bold yet neutral lip colour, reach out for matte lipsticks- they are very pigmented and add that essential pop of colour to your lips.
That’s it for this blog! Tag me in your pictures if you recreate any of these looks. I absolutely love stalking you guys on Instagram.
I’ll be back with a new blog super soon, until then- Go sip some Hot chocolate on my behalf and stay cozy!
