Magnetic Fields festival 2018

Went to Rajasthan earlier this month to attend the Magnetic Fields festival and I have to admit that I had the best time of my life. It was a three day extravaganza starting from the 14th December till the 16th December’2018 nestled side by side in a little oasis of magic in the heart of the Rajasthani desert. It is a festival celebrating India’s vibrant and forward thinking creative community and I am so glad I got to be a part of it.

It was an absolutely crazy experience, from dancing like nobody’s watching, flying kites at sunrise to lazing in the lawns- EACH AND EVERYTHING was nothing short of amazing.
It felt as if the desert come to life in a dazzling haze of mist and sunlight. Sounds surreal, doesn’t it? But, that’s how it three day was. The festival had a fabulous line up of underground artists performing and making us dance to their tunes. Also also, not to miss that we stayed in tents for all these days. It was a festival that absorbed and united everybody be it the participants, the crew, the artists or the guests. The overall vibe was stunning. I am surely not getting over it anytime soon.

Talking off my outfits, I wanted to dress up festival appropriate which is why I did some research on Pinterest and planned my outfits taking inspiration from there. We all do that, don’t we?

For the first day, I wore my denim shorts with this halter crop top and threw this white dress as an open cape above it. To add some oomph to the overall look, I wore my boots and accessorized using a coin neckpiece and a nose pin. Absolutely love how this look turned out. It was so different than what I would usually wear.

Top: Sarojini Nagar
Boho Cape: Vajor
Shorts: Forever 21
Belt: Zara
Boots: Charles and Keith
Bag: Alie Express
Sunglasses: GiantVintage.com

For Day-2, I wore this cutesy dress and topped it up with this cargo jacket. To accessorize I wore this hat and these cool sunglasses. Carried a tiny backpack to stuff in everything necessary and stay sorted for the entire day.

Dress: Sarojini Nagar
Jacket: Forever 21
Hat: H&M
Shoes: Charles & Keith
Sunglasses: YSL
Bag: Coverstory

Here, take a look and decide for yourself which out of the two do you like more? Because I clearly can’t pick one.

That’s about it for this blog! Hope you enjoyed reading it. Until next time, xoxo.
