Trends that took a stride in 2018!

With 2018 coming to an end. I decided to take you through all the trends that were the ultimate show stealers all throughout the year.

Capes – This particular piece of clothing was spotted on the streets time and again, styled meticulously in endless number of ways. Available in various different colors and designs, this clothing item topped the trending charts and how. I personally enjoyed styling it with my crop tops and jeans, adding a layer of chunk jewelry to introduce a bohemian vibe.

Monotone – Monotone is one trend that I personally stood by all throughout the year. Here’s a little Inspiration for you to get hold of what this trend actually resonates. It is basically when you’re pulling off an entire outfit that’s of the same color/ same color tones.

Black certainly is the safest option when it comes to acing this trend. It allows you look elegant and stylish all at the same time. Just make sure you pick up the right pieces when putting together your outfit. The structured the garment- the better it looks.

Infinity scarves – Instant accessory that can elevate your outfit game is right here this “Infinity Scarf” you guys. Can be styled with overcoats, dresses, sweaters and what not. This particular item is a winter staple and a must in your wardrobe – off you haven’t gotten hold of this trend yet, what waiting for? It’s time to get on a shopping spree and get one right away.

Bow hairbands– This accessory is that one accessory that sets in a quick throwback to the days when we were toddlers and our mommies used to dress up as this cute munchkin. Haha, not kidding! Every time I style it -it’s like I am meeting my younger self. It’s so quirky, so fun and so so stylish. I really hope this trend doesn’t fade because I am all up for looking this cute and cuddly version of myself, every day.

Pleats– Pleated skirts, pleated palazzos, pleated tops, etc. Tell me the last time you went shopping and didn’t’t see this style taking over all the showrooms like it’s here to stay?
I thoroughly loved styling these pleated palazzos- they were comfy, they were stylish and it is one clothing item that anybody can wear during long days at work and not find themselves restricted. It’s exactly what you’re looking for incase you need a break from your regular jeans.

Stripes– Stripes without a doubt was one of the biggest trends this season. I personally love wearing stripes! There are just so many ways you can style an outfit with striped clothing, and create so many different looks! I’ve here, worn a top with stripes and paired it up with these pants that add a sudden pop of color and enhance the complete look.

That’s it for this blog! Always remember, Style is all about expressing yourself and experimenting, so don’t be afraid to break out from your comfort zone!

Until next time. Stay Happy, Stay Stylish xx
