I am just two fashion weeks old and it feels absolutely amazing everytime i make a move towards the shows running, standing, tweeting, skipping meals, crawling in the most uncomfortable heels, (Haha yes it’s painful! fashion doesn’t come easy) and what not. Thankful to the Fashion Design Council of India that fashion week for Autumn winter 2017 was for four days! Such a relief.
I am so glad to meet so many of you at the fashion week that leaves my heart in utter joy! I am thankful to each one of you who come and say Hi, please tag me in the pictures you took with me haha!
Four days but 6 Street style outfits because i like more so much more and designers love me too much! Donning the hottest trends of 2017 Velvet, Embroidery and Sequence! Listing down each and every detail of what i wore and how i wore it. These four days couldn’t have been possible with my dear friend Pratibha and the dearest photographers Naman & Saahil who shot my looks.
Don two of the most comfortable styles on AIFWAW17 day one. Remember that i did only maxi’s last Fashion week?
I always try to stick to my personal style everywhere i go, rather than in uncomfortable fashion. I can never get over maxi’s! Not in this life at least.
Wore an embroidered Label Ritu Kumar maxi dress, paired with a black bag, double buckle leather belt and a leather jacket because it gets really very cold inside the auditorium (Sustainable fashion keeps me healthy). Coming down to the look two for the same day was curated by the folks of once upon a trunk for me where the handloom maxi dress was paired with a complimentary trunk sling and few oxidised silver jewellery.
As soon as the first day ends i tried to be more active for the next day! I was already feeling the ache in my body because of the long Day 1, but had to make it till day four, it’s a long long way to go!
Gone absolutely off beat from my personal style as i Wore a super cute dress over velvet pants and some delicate jewellery pieces with the outfit. All things pastel, with a little hint of embroidery, embellished jewellery & velvet, the day ended on a good note.
Remember last time I bashed myself all on the gravel road wearing that absolutely absurd slit skirt? I was haunted by the incidence that I might strangle upon this beautiful dusty pink saree and will fall down somewhere! But we found a safer option to tie the saree. Prats and me took an hr to drape my saree over my jean. We made sure that we put on atleast two dozens on safety pins all over the pleats and every area which might fall off! I made it to the day with the saree over denim! Thanks for All the love you showered on this look! This one is one of the best looks in my feed and i am glad you guys loved it so much as much as i did.
Wore a beautiful pastel pink top over my favourite sequenced skirt because i was too tired to dress up and hit for the day! Put on my glasses and all done. And for the finale, changed into one of the flirty dress i have own. Frocks and dresses makes me so so happy and airy, summers are already here and you will find me doing heaps of them.
