Camel Coat Obsession

Winter has taken over Delhi at a breakneck speed and I cannot be happier. Every season has its pro’s and cons- so does winters but I always prefer looking at the brighter picture and keeping myself happy because that’s how it should be, do you agree/do you agree?

LOL, I am in an extremely good mood today because the weather here in Delhi is swiftly changing into that of a hill station and this is what is motivating me to go out and be productive. It’s a wonderful feeling all together and I am loving it!

Let me know what do you think of the weather if you’re from Delhi too?

Now onto today’s blog!

I have shared quite a few winter looks this season with you guys and I am overwhelmed with the love you guys have showered me with.

I wish I could hug you all in person and let you know how much all this appreciation means to me. For this particular blog, I wanted it to be slightly different than usual- since I have already talked about a few winter looks, I thought this time I’ll talk about my favorite winter color – let you know why is it my favourite- and how it can be styled.

I am a person, who loves mixing, styling different pieces together and blending two contrasting trends into my style therefore I always reach out for colours/pieces that easily allow me do so.

This season, I saw myself reaching out for a lot of nude tones-like tab/brown/beige, unlike the previous years where I was somewhat inclined towards black more than these tones. This year I let myself experiment and create different looks around these tones and boy was I amazed!I am so glad,  I took this leap of faithbecause if I had not then how would have I discovered this new favourite colourof mine.

Deep browns, rich tans and subtle beige tones look stunning when paired with anything and everything- they allow you bring versatility into your outfits without overdoing them. It’s a perfect colour for day as well as night.

It is a perfect colour palette for someone who is always reaching out for lavish, yet moody winter trends that drip style. It makes for one an ideal winter colour scheme and you can slay in it withouteven realising that you’re being repetitiveof something.

That is it for what is my favourite colour and why is it my favourite colour. Now onto How it can be styled.

Well, I am pretty sure knowingly/unknowingly each one of us has something or the other from this pallet already hanging in our wardrobes. Don’t we?

The fact that these colours structure a lot of our styling ideas is not hidden. I realised how much I love it only after I observed myself picking something or the other in the same tones from my wardrobe.

Like here in this look,

I have layered this beautiful camel above my denim shirt and worn my tan knee-high boots from this palette. Both of these things sorta bind the entire look together. They add to the winter flavor as well as make me look stylish. Also, not to miss the leopard print belt that I’m wearing- it’s again from the same family of colours– yet is making a statement and is not letting the other two elements overpower it.

That’s the beauty of this colour. Every colour from this palette is so different -yet so alike. You get what I am saying?

It doesn’t have to be your boots/coat/ belt- it can be anything be it a jacket, a handbag, a belt bag – anything for that matter. My purpose behind putting this blog is to help you derive inspiration! It’s okay if you do not have the same pieces- you can work things out with all that you have. Okay?

Let me know what do you think of this look and leave down your favourite colour of the season in the comments sectionbelow.

I’ll see you next time. Lots of love XOXO
