If you ask me what is that one garment that is the most hassle-free and looks extremely flattering, My answer would definitely be a Jumpsuit or a Romper.
Yes, I prefer jumpsuits over dresses because A. They are high in Fashion B. You don’t have too much on the way you’re sitting so yea, Jumpsuits are literally the easiest garment one can pull off without having to think too much. Also, it cuts down on the laundry- just an entire ensemble into the machine and voila!
I honestly love jumpsuits…. unless I have to go and pee. Hahaha, I know you feel me but hey, we definitely can overrule this drawback if we can walk straight in pointy stilettos without complaining.
Jumpsuits are versatile, you have one for every occasion- It can serve as the perfect work wear, party wear as well as casual wear. This one-piece clothing has its appeal since it has an unbroken line running from the neck to the feet which can be flattering on almost all body types. It accentuates the midriff and makes you look slightly long.
I recently bought this Green Jumpsuit from Zara and the pleat detailing all over it had me at first glance. These pleats look extremely feminine and give the entire jumpsuit a modern edge over the rest of the jumpsuits being sold largely in the market. I also love the fact that it’s wide legged and has a Ruffle trim on the top. Also, I like how these straps allow me to seize some attention towards my collar bones.
For the rest of my look, I didn’t do much- just added some color to this monotone number with my lavender tassel earrings and my usual yellow pumps. Also, wore multiple chains because I’ve been obsessed with them lately and paired my go to sling that I got from COACH and we were good to go.
Honestly, there’s nothing that I dislike. I love the fit, the color and the overall vibe of this ensemble- so CHIC! You can dress it up / dress it down. Wear it with a blazer to work. Throw a denim jacket over it and catch up with friends or do as I did and steal the show at a party.
That’s it for this look! I’ll see you next time. Until then, Keep showing some love!
