Casual Summer dressing ideas for girls

“Summer dressing should be easy!” This season, I’ve vowed to change my summer wardrobe habits because ain’t nobody got the patience to get through the day in fitted and uncomfortable clothing but hey, I’m not sacrificing on style either, thanks to some street style inspiration and my love for basics I’ve figured out how it really can be done. I’ve curated two looks for you guys to check out. Go keep reading.

Be a Fireball in Red

When there’s the blazing hot sun shining at you, you shine right back. This look right here is inspired by a fireball, because why not!

Red is certainly my favorite color to pull off during summers. It’s fiery, bright and compliments my skin tone. Here for this look, I’ve styled these red joggers with a very interesting crop top and a green jacket. I’ve added the green jacket, just so I can color block and play with red. For footwear, have played safe and worn these black sneakers that I absolutely love.

Top and Joggers: Forever21, Shoes: NIKE, Green puffer jacket: Reebok, Sunglasses: Ali Express, Accessories: Forever21

Keeping the whole casual vibe intact, I’ve added this super fun shoulder bag, these rad sunglasses, and hoop earrings to complete my look. Love how everything falls in place and looks like all these pieces were made for each other.

Black is a happy color

They say everything’s better in black and I agree! Black is therapeutic, one can not have enough black in their wardrobe and I’m no different- I love black in all forms, shapes, and sizes.

Top: ZARA, Joggers: Forever21, Shoes: ZARA, Sunglasses: AliExpress, Accessories: Forever21, Bag: Sarojini Nagar

For this look, I’ve teamed up this black zipper and jogger set with a neon t-shirt underneath. Love how black settles the neon and doesn’t let it look out there and too shiny. For accessories, I’ve stacked up a few gold chains and these golden foil earrings. Also, Wearing the same shoes as in the previous look and voila we’re good to go.

And, can we please take a minute and appreciate those braids. They look uber cool, don’t they?

Show me some love and let me know which out of these is your favorite looks. I’ll be back with a new blog super soon.

Until next time XOXO
